I’m Priya. I’m a Birmingham based aspiring theatre-director who graduated in summer 2020 BA in Drama from the University of East Anglia.
I’m a lover of all things musical theatre, but also have an interest in contemporary plays, historical plays and Shakespeare. On top of directing, I enjoy singing, consuming high quantities of garlic and (when I can afford it and we’re not in a global pandemic) cinema and theatre-going.
This blog has been on a journey in the last 2 and a bit years! It started as a place for reviews, then reflections on my experiences as an actor and director, then I disappeared off the grid for half a year and now it’s in a process of reinvention – so don’t be angsty if it’s a little sparse for the moment!
